The Art of Fauna has released a brand new feature called Friends of Fauna in the latest update
Now you can contribute to the puzzles

- New Friends of Fauna feature available as an in-game program
- Submit a photo of any animal you like
- One picture will be selected and transformed into that month's puzzle
Released in February, The Art of Fauna has quietly carved out its place as one of the more thoughtful and beautifully crafted puzzlers on mobile. Now, it’s adding something extra for the community, a new feature called Friends of Fauna, launching as a free program inside the app.
Here’s how it works. Each month, you're invited to submit a photo of an animal, whether it’s a wild creature, a service animal, or a beloved pet. One submission is chosen and turned into that month’s puzzle. For the debut edition, the featured puzzle is based on a photo of a Spectacled Bear, submitted by Denis B.
The update also introduces new app icons, each tied to specific community members. Valentin gets a Snow Leopard, Vidit and Benedict share a Lion, Shiven has an Orca, and Thomas is repped by a Northern Gannet.

If you’re new to The Art of Fauna, this is a serene puzzler that merges vintage wildlife illustration with a flexible gameplay style. You can opt to complete each puzzle visually or by assembling a descriptive text, learning about each animal along the way.

Every image in the puzzler is drawn from 18th- and 19th-century scientific works by naturalists like John James Audubon and John Gould, capturing both the beauty and history of wildlife art. It’s also a game with purpose - a portion of all purchases goes toward wildlife conservation efforts around the world.
Send your submissions for the Friends of Fauna by The Art of Fauna using the link below. The first 10 levels are free-to-play, and you can get your hands on the rest of them through an in-app purchase. Visit the official website for more information.
