My Talking Angela 2 launches its new Fashion Editor - Here’s everything you need to know to design the perfect outfit

8 tips for mastering the new Fashion Editor feature
Everyone’s favourite mobile gaming fashionista is turning heads like never before as My Talking Angela 2, the hit dress-up virtual pet sim by Outfit7, introduces its new Fashion Editor feature.

As a change-up to the mix-and-match options which have served the game until now, My Talking Angela 2’s Fashion Editor will allow players to craft unique outfits from scratch in full 3D.

If you’re curious as to exactly how much creativity you can exercise with the new feature, here are 8 things you must do to enjoy the full fashion experience.
Please Note: In some territories, the feature may be subject to an additional purchase.
1
Open the Fashion Editor

Starting in the most obvious place: how to get into the Fashion Editor.
The Fashion Editor feature can be accessed in four ways. If you haven't used it before, you may see a full-screen pop-up with a "Try Now" button. Tap that button to start designing!
The second way is via the wardrobe in Talking Angela’s boudoir. First, tap the hairbrush button to enter the boudoir, then tap the wardrobe on the left side of the screen. Inside the wardrobe, on the floor to the left, you'll find a small box containing a pair of scissors, a tape measure, and some thread. Tap the box to open the Fashion Editor.
A third way is to access the Fashion Editor in the city. Tap the city button, then tap the building that has a dress billboard on its roof.
Finally, keep an eye out for a thought bubble with a Fashion Editor icon above Angela's head. This indicates she wants to do some fashion design. Tap the bubble to open the Fashion Editor
Now, you’re ready to design your first outfit, so let’s start at the top.
2
Design a hat

You don't need to include a hat in your outfit. Some of Angela's hairstyles are incompatible with hats, and wearing one could ruin her hairdo. However, if you do want a hat, tap the hat button next to the character model. Then, select the hat style you want from the menu at the bottom of the screen, and choose a colour from the menu above that.
You can now use the tabs above the colour menu to add a pattern, a unique design, and some accessories. For this step-by-step guide, we chose a blue summery bucket hat, then added broad pink strips to it. Whenever you add a pattern, remember to choose a colour for it. If your garment and pattern are the same colour, you won’t be able to see the pattern!
3
Design a dress

Next you have a choice. You can design a dress that covers Angela's entire body, or you can create a two-piece outfit with a shirt for the upper half and a skirt or trousers for the lower half. However, Angela cannot wear a dress in combination with a separate shirt, skirt, or trousers.
We decided to create a separate shirt and skirt to go with our hat, but to demonstrate every feature, we also made this dress. Start designing a dress by tapping the dress button pointing to the dummy’s waist.
Selecting the style and base colour for your dress works in the exact same way as for a hat. But for this dress, we decided to tap on the brush tab and add a unique splash of colour. The dress is all one colour when you select it, but you have the option of colouring each part separately. You can use your finger to do this. Or, if you want to be super precise, you can use a stylus pen.
Also make sure to rotate the dummy to examine the dress from every angle. To do this, simply move the arrow around the dummy’s ankles.
4
Design a shirt

If you decide against making a dress, you can instead design a shirt, skirt or trousers for Angela. Tap on the T-shirt button pointing to the dummy’s chest to start designing a shirt. If you already made a dress, then you might already have noticed that some of the style buttons have a scissors icon on them. This means that you can adjust the length of the garment. To make part of the garment shorter, tap the scissors button. Or, to make it longer, tap the yarn icon.
We wanted to give Angela a summer vibe, so we took a basic T-shirt, coloured it light blue, and cropped the sleeves. Then, to make it extra cute, we added an accessory.
To add accessories, tap the accessories tab with the heart and smiley face icons. Then, select an accessory from the menu at the bottom. To apply the accessory, simply drag and drop it where desired on the garment. You can also adjust the size by sliding the yellow bar left or right. Feel free to add as many accessories as you like, but for our summer T-shirt, a single perfect pink unicorn was the ideal choice.
5
Design a skirt or trousers

Tap the trousers button to start designing a skirt or trousers. Most skirts and trousers can be cut short and, as with everything else, you can choose the base colour, pattern, and accessories - and you can create a unique design too, if you want.
The brush tab offers more than just paintbrushes and erasers - there are several fun alternative tools, including markers, pencils, and spray paint. However, for our skirt project, we wanted something truly unique. So we opted for the splat stamp, choosing a long, plain skirt and covering half of it in bold blue splatters.
6
Design shoes

Finally, no outfit is complete without a pair of shoes to set the whole thing off. Tap the shoe button to open the shoes menu, then select the style, colour, and any decoration that you want.
For our playful summer outfit, we went for sky blue sandals. And the finishing touch - cute little hearts on the straps.
7
Save your outfit

Now that you've designed your outfit, take a close look at it from all angles. Use the arrows around the dummy's ankles to rotate the figure and ensure your creation looks good from every perspective. If you're satisfied, tap the green tick, then the Save button to add the outfit to your wardrobe.
If you're not happy with the result, keep editing until you achieve your desired look. However, be cautious about starting over completely - tapping the trash can will delete the entire outfit, and this action cannot be undone.
8
Wear it!

When you’ve saved your outfit to the wardrobe, Angela can try it on immediately if you tap the Wear button. From now on, she’ll be wearing your own unique outfit throughout the game
All of your fashion creations will be stored in Angela’s wardrobe, along with the other clothes in her collection. Each garment is saved separately, so you can mix and match them with other items, creating even more unique outfits as you go. With Angela’s Fashion Editor, the possibilities are endless!
