Mr Lone Hero is the brand new shooter from Unit102 Games which sees players gunslinging their way across the dusty plains in a quest to rid the land of bandits.
With eleven randomly generated locale’s, and a choice between story mode and bounty mode, players will need a steely nerve and a steady aim to navigate Mr Lone Hero’s various pitfalls which include: a landscape filled with hostages, rabid attack dogs, and flying Molotov’s launched by vicious foes looking to punch the titular Hero’s ticket before he can clean up the town and claim his bounty.
Both dynamic and fast, each level in Mr Lone Hero is brisk and easy to pick up. However, you’d be wrong if you think that means Mr Lone Hero doesn’t present a challenge. It offers a satisfying test of strategy and skills that are needed in order to advance with every level being negotiated differently.
So, grab your stetson, because here are some top tips to make you faster on the draw!

Aim Steady
Patience is a virtue, it will also save your life. Aim carefully and pick your moment! The trajectory of your shot is very important as physics plays a big role in Mr Lone Hero. You will need to take into consideration where you’re firing and how objects will react when hit, keeping in mind at all times to avoid any hostages!.
A swinging arc system is used for the mechanics of lining up your gun, the more you play the quicker your reactions will be when your barrel has lined up with its target. If you should miss then your reaction times have to be fast and your shield drawn as your enemy responds in kind. So, our advice is: practice, and don’t get hit!

The Right Tool For The Job
Mr Lone Hero also provides you with a variety of weapons with unique properties that are better suited for each individual scenario. You will start with your trusty Colt, but with a few rewards collected in bounty mode you can upgrade to the five star “Black Gun”, one of the ultimate weapons in Mr Lone Hero’s rating system.
Adding to this is the grenade launcher, and a variety of shotguns. The super shotgun, for instance, is the perfect choice for clearing a passage between you, your foe, and the hostage they are holding. One blast will send the bandit on his way allowing you to pass and save the captive.

Protect Yourself At All Times
Speaking of shields, when protecting yourself against enemy fire, a good tip is to hold the shield and release it in order to reset your aim at the bottom of your target. This method makes it easier when re-calibrating the trajectory of your bullet and getting that much needed head shot.
You can also reload faster if you press the gun tab while in a defensive position. But don’t get too cautious, Mr Lone Hero shines brightest when you’re aggressive and daring, because regardless of your aim, you can always use your shield to avoid being shot by your foe. For this reason it is the most important tool at your disposal, with a variety of improved defences waiting to be unlocked. These range from your standard wooden affair, to a frying pan and the most coveted “supershield”.

Unlock Upgrades
New weapons will make it easier for you to pass through each level of Mr Lone Hero. These are obtained, along with new locales in the story mode, via the number of achievements you wrack up throughout your progression. These can be viewed by accessing the achievements tab from the main menu. It will show what the requirements are to complete each level. We advise that you keep a close eye on this, as it will help you through the eleven environments you will have to navigate, where your adversaries become a more difficult proposition to deal with.

Replay Levels
After you have completed the story-line mode in Mr Lone Hero you will be presented with the “3 Star Challenge". This means your skills will be tested to the max. So, you will have to hone all your expertise and your arsenal in order to complete Mr Lone Hero once again in a much harder and challenging environment.
