Pokémon TCG Pocket's Extradimensional Crisis is now available
  • Pokémon TCG Pocket's latest expansion is here
  • Extradimensional Crisis comes packed with 100 new cards
  • As well as the debut of the Ultra Beasts

It's almost Friday, and you know what that means! Yes, we all get a break from the drudgery of work to do whatever we please, and for many of us, that means gaming. And if you're a fan of Pokémon TCG Pocket, you're doubly in for a treat, as the latest expansion, Extradimensional Crisis, has just released!

What does this expansion include? Well, the Ultra Beasts, for one. And for those not in the know, these entities are Pokémon from another dimension entirely, and were first introduced in Sun and Moon. Now, you can add these powerhouses to your collection too.

This expansion includes a whopping 100 new cards, including new Trainers, Pokémon and, of course, the Ultra Beasts themselves. Buzzwole, Guzzlord and the rest of the gang will all be available in the new booster packs that are out now.

The addition of Ultra Beasts offers a very welcome increase in power to your Pokémon, and refreshing new additions overall. While they may be different from classic Pokémon, there's no denying that the idea of Pokémon from another dimension entirely is a fascinating concept.

But even if you're not overly fussed on the inclusion of Ultra Beasts, there's another good reason to jump into Pokémon TCG Pocket, what with the latest Metal-type Mass Outbreak event now underway. So, whether you're seeking out these extradimensional beasties or planning on building out your roster of Metal-types and completing missions, you'll have plenty to do over the weekend!

Of course, if you're wanting a bit of a break from TCG Pocket, there's still plenty of great options out there for you to try out. Why not check out our latest list of the top five new mobile games to try this week for a selection of the best launches from the last seven days?
