Hello Kitty Island Adventure lets Gudetama take over Friendship Island during the Month of Meh

The best Meh ever

Hello Kitty Island Adventure lets Gudetama take over Friendship Island during the Month of Meh
  • It's Gudetama galore with themed cosmetics and events
  • Take a photo of Nisetama if you can
  • Collect egg yolks for more surprises

Stop the presses - Hello Kitty Island Adventure has just kicked off the Month of Meh, and all is right with the world. My beloved Gudetama is taking centre stage from now until May 31st, with plenty of egg-citing collectibles to grab before the month is over.

Nisetama-san is also bringing his own brand of bizarre into the adventure, which means you'll need to keep an eye out for this elusive non-menace to snap a photo before he disappears. As you collect egg yolks with every picture, you can use them to redeem goodies at the glorious Egg Shrine.

There are all kinds of Gudetama-themed cosmetics up for grabs too, like a Gudetama Bean Bag chair (I want one IRL), a bed, a sofa set, a coffee table book, and what looks like Gudetama sitting on top of a bowl of ramen. I myself have a mini-shrine for Gudetama at home, so all this sounds absolutely fabulous to me.

This is exactly what was teased two weeks ago, and yes, it proves that good things come to those who wait indeed. Sunblink has also stated that "all of us would prefer to stay in bed sometimes", and that's never been truer.

If, like me, you're a fan of the lazy egg too, why not have a look at our guide on how to find all the Gudetama? In the meantime, if you're eager to join in on all the fun, you can do so by checking out Hello Kitty Island Adventure on the App Store as part of Apple Arcade.
