Nobody said you needed to fight fair

Meteorfall: Rustbowl Rumble is a wacky card-battler set in the equally wacky Meteorfall universe, now in pre-registration
  • Compete in the Rustbowl Rumble tournament against all odds
  • Collect and upgrade cards to improve your deck
  • Win over the crowd with your antics

In case you missed it, Slothwerks has opened pre-registration sign-ups for Meteorfall: Rustbowl Rumble, the studio's upcoming card brawler set in the eccentric world of the Meteorfall series. As you can probably tell from the visuals alone (which still reminds me of Adventure Time), it's as wacky as wacky gets with no hard-and-fast rules here - you'll duke it out with other contenders in the Rustbowl Rumble tournament, win over your adoring fans cheering (or booing) you in the arena, and nab that elusive Mask of the Uberlich against snotwolves and bearbearians alike.

And yes, it all sounds incredibly appealing to me.

In Meteorfall: Rustbowl Rumble, you'll also need to buff up your chances of winning by upgrading your deck, manipulating your Wild Cards, and unleashing powerful (albeit not always fair) combos across your humble team of three. There are more than 200 cards to tinker around with to boost your survivability in turn-based combat, and if it's anything like Meteorfall: Krumit’s Tale (that I absolutely adored), I think it's safe to say it's all going to be a one big hoot.
