Happy Citizens lets you build a vibrant town from scratch to keep your citizens, well, happy
  • Build your city as the new mayor
  • Keep your citizens' careers on point
  • Now in pre-registration on Google Play

In case you missed it, LifeSim has open pre-registration sign-ups for Happy Citizens, the studio's upcoming - as you might have guessed - life sim on Android. As the new mayor of the city, you're tasked with building a bustling urban paradise for your townsfolk to - as you might have guessed again - keep them happy so that they can become the titular citizens you're aiming for.

Now, while city-building sims are a dime a dozen on mobile, what makes this stand out to me is how lovely the visuals are. They're pretty vibrant, cosy, and adorable, so if you're anything like me and the vibe is the first thing that lures you in, then this might just be your cup of tea.

That said, it does offer your standard life sim fare, with everything from building your town from scratch to setting your citizens up with careers for some much-needed work-life balance. You'll need to maximise each citizen's skills, whether that's as a craftsman tasked with developing industries in town or as an artist on the road to making your city's culture flourish.

There's no official word yet on a release window, nor is there an iOS listing just yet. But if you're on the lookout for something similar while you wait for the official launch though, why not take a look at our list of the best simulation games on Android to get your fill?

In the meantime, if you're eager to join in on all the fun, you can do so by checking out Happy Citizens on Google Play. It's free-to-play with in-app purchases.
